White Planked Bed
Handmade chunky white planked bed, painted in a soft white washed effect style so the beauty of the timber grain and knots are so very slightly visible.
This white bed design is rather rustic at heart with it's chunky bed posts and imposing solid wood headboard , the simplicity of being handpainted white gives the planked bed a lovely clean, modern fresh style.
This handmade solid pine bedframe is made to last a lifetime having mortice bed posts and a tenonned headboard so they joint together. The side rails are also tennoned fixing into the morticed bed posts so the side rails supporting the beds base is not reliant only on bed fixings, it has the support of the bed frame also.
The planked bed is painted in such a way that the beauty of the woodgrain is visible through the paint , the corners of the bed posts and headboard offer a glimpse of the timber in places to create a slight distressed appearance.
