This white planked bed features a plank headboard and lower footboard with square, chunky posts — crafted from solid softwood pine and painted to a smooth, clean finish. Lodge style in character but refined in execution, the painted plank design brings a warm, cabin-inspired feel to any bedroom without sacrificing elegance. A bed that looks equally at home in a country cottage or a modern home.
Built to Last
The square bed posts are joined to the side rails via a mortice and tenon joint, with a secret bolt keeping everything tight and secure. The bed frame isn't relying on fixings alone. Solid hardwood slats, made in our own workshop, add further strength and longevity.
Made to Order in Our Derbyshire Workshop
Every bed is handmade to order in the UK and available in a full range of sizes — single (3 ft), small double (4 ft), double (4 ft 6), king size (5 ft) and super king (6 ft). No two beds are rushed off a production line — there's a piece of us in every bed we make.
UK Mainland Delivery
We deliver to all UK Mainland addresses. Your bed will be carefully packaged and shipped directly from our Derbyshire workshop to your door.

UK Mainland Delivery
Our handcrafted four poster beds, solid wood beds, and bedroom furniture are delivered throughout mainland UK. Delivery to outer regions — including the Scottish Highlands and Outer Hebrides — is available by special request and bespoke quote.
Delivery Costs
As a guide, our standard mainland UK shipping rates are:
- Beds & large furniture — £85.00
- Bedside cabinets — £45.00
- Stools — £12.00
For outer regions or international delivery, please call us for an accurate quote before ordering.
How Your Order Arrives
Your bed will arrive by large van, packed in manageable sections for home self-assembly. Every piece is extremely well wrapped to ensure it reaches you in immaculate condition. Please check the outer packaging for any obvious signs of damage on arrival. Your delivery driver will be happy to carry your furniture inside.
We use a specialist furniture courier for beds and larger items, and a separate courier for smaller pieces such as stools and bedside cabinets.
Delivery Communication
Once your bed is made, I'll contact you personally to arrange a convenient delivery date. You'll also receive confirmation once your order has been collected by the courier, along with tracking details by text or email.
We ask for your understanding in the rare event that a delivery doesn't go entirely to plan — we will always do our best to ensure everything runs smoothly.
If You're Not Home
If you are unavailable to receive your delivery, a re-delivery charge may apply to cover any additional costs incurred.
Returns Policy
Free return and re-delivery applies to damaged items only. We do not accept returns or exchanges.
Collection
You are welcome to collect your order from our workshop in Wirksworth, near Matlock, Derbyshire (DE4 4FY), or arrange your own courier collection, provided payment has been made in full in advance.
