We only use high grade solid wood to make this four poster bed frame. The four poster shown is finished in a type of oil that brings out the natural golden tones in the oak. The four poster bed in the photo was a special commission for a beautiful castle holiday home.

We use solid wood wood for the beds base also, we machine our wood  to 20 mm thickness to make our slatted base which is very sturdy made to last a lifetime.
