Four Poster Bed
Wooden four poster bed frame. Modern contemporary four poster bed design handmade in our UK workshop where quality is at the forefront of what we do. We specialise in making wooden four poster bed frames that will last a lifetime. This modern four poster is shown in solid pine and also a grey finish which is a painted hardwood. It has a sloping planked headboard, inset within the curved bed frame.
The beds base is bespoke and made from solid wood, having sold wood slats as we believe the beds base is an important structural part of the bed that is designed to last a lifetime.
The four poster bed has planked side rails and foot board with simple vein detailing along the centre of the painted four poster. It is mortise and tenoned into the bowed bed frame. The curved bed posts flow into point where the posts meet where both bed ends are connected by a top rail from which drapes may be hung.
The four poster bed is shown dressed with handmade linen drapes and bedding, these can be purchased at extra cost.
